Reading Notes: Tiny Tales for Ramayana Part C

While I was reading this week’s tales, I imagined the microfictions as a crossover between a Marvel movie and a Disney one – Marvel Is under Disney now, so just writing a Disney movie would be sufficient, but anyway, you know what I mean. Like for example, Rama team is like the Avengers, while Ravana is like the Thanos team kinda vibe. Or Rama wants to save his princess, the love of his life, Sita, at any price. The trope is the same: a damsel in distress. The man is the only one who can save her, and she cannot save herself because she is obviously a woman…
Ravana is a toxic man. He has anger issues, unbearable; he is someone who can’t take no as an answer. He definitely would not last in today’s society; he will be canceled right away. Besides, if he lived nowadays, it would be intriguing to know the reason why he is acting like that. Was he bullied when he was a kid? Did he have a bad relationship with his mom, dad, family as a whole? Or is he naturally like that? It seems like he only feels anger. He is a stereotypical Aries. I definitely won’t befriend someone like that – even if I adore Aries people. Or Ravana is a stereotypical Slytherin – said by a Slytherin myself.
If I pictured Ravana, Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman in the Harry Potter universe. Hanuman would be Dumbledore and Rama, Harry Potter. While Sita would be a mix of Hermione and Ginnie – she’s the lover of Rama so…. Lakshmana would be Ron and Ravana, Voldemort. Both of the prophecies is the same: the bad guy would be killed by the hero.
