Reading Notes: Tiny Tales for Ramayana Part B
Ok! Hear me out! The stories involving Rama, Sita, Urmila, Lakshmana, and Ravana remind me of a Wattpad story! A story where Rama and Ravana are gang rivals or mafia boss rivals, and Lakshmana is Rama’s right-hand man. Rama and Sita are OTP (one true pairing) as well as Lakshmana and Urmila. Both men want to protect their wife at any cost and are so much in love with their significant other. They are also a keeper. It is literally the relationship that you want and wishes for. Both are loyal and do not cheat. Further in the story, something happened to test the protagonists love the girl who wants everybody’s boyfriend arrived (Shurpanakha). Still, Rama rejects her because he is in love with his girl. However, it is not that simple! Shurpanakha is the sister of Rama’s rival. So, since his sister is humiliated, Ravana wants revenge, so he decides to abduct Sita, Rama’s soulmate. Ravana sets up an ambush and succeeds in kidnapping the only person who matters most for Rama. The latter is devastated; he is depressed because he cannot find the love of his life. He is looking everywhere and anywhere, but will he give up? Will he finally find his love again? Will he get his revenge? More in the next volume!
I know it is so cliché, but the plot is like the Wattpad stories I read when I was younger! These twists and turns can also be a good scenario for a telenovela: many drama, twists, lies, fights, and love.
I also notice that Sita is a loyal and loving wife. She is devoted to Rama and leads him around by the nose as we saw with the deer. She puts herself in danger without realizing it, which radiates, to its pure state, the girl protagonist’s energy in a Wattpad fiction.
