Feedback Strategies

Honestly, giving feedback to people my age or people in the same class as me is a struggle for me. I feel like I’m not entitled to do it since I’m a student like them. I’m always scared of giving useless feedbacks and not doing a good job. I also feel that people may think that I feel superior to them. It is much easier to provide feedback to people in lower grades – not saying that lower grades are inferior, it’s just that they can learn from my mistakes. By reading “How to Provide Great Feedback When You’re Not In Charge,” I learned that when it comes to feedback, the best way to give great ones is to receive feedback in return. Additionally, reading “How to Give Bad Feedback Without Beinga Jerk” helps me understand that feedback is not a bad thing but rather something that can make you grow.
